最先面的是Pinterest product analyst，growth 过了圣诞后，那个职位被fill了，然后被换到product analyst, ads quality.
hiring manger 是个欧洲中年男子，总的面完，感觉跟我相性不太合，面试有的时候要过真的觉得要看缘分。
问了一个business case：
we know new users who posted more than 2 posts in first week, and they are more likely to click more ads in the future.
Hence, we are gonna make more money from them. Right now, in order to increase revenue, pinterest plans to use a strategy that give new users who post more than 2 posts in first week some rewards like groupon etc. What do you think of this strategy?
我的回答：首先要看一下这个increased revenue 是长期的，还是短期的，新用户po很多东西的可能一开始就是可能对pinterest很有兴趣，要弄清high engagement 跟 increase revenue 之间的因果关系。
然后再break down这些new users，用device，web/mobile etc。
hr现在只看mobile，
我： 那么需要用a/b testing， metrics 就用ads revenue for user etc， 然后讲了一下a/b testing。
奇葩的地方就是，在我回答到一半的时候，电话那边响起音乐，就是那种你打客服，别人put you on hold 的那种音乐，持续了最起码7分钟，蜜汁尴尬，因为不知道发生了什么也没有贸然挂电话，过了会正常了，hr说了一句，我刚才说的你没听到吗？？？ 我真是黑人问号脸，赶紧说了一下情况，然后就。
有史以来在面试中发生的最奇怪的事情。。。 果不其然挂了，想想加入p家，他就是我hr，thank you， next
